What dog food is good for your dog?

I have been reading lots of dog forum posts where dog owners as well as breeders discuss various brands of dog food. The funny thing is when people say: 'Oh this brand has worked great for us. We are very satisfied' (speaking of a dry processed kibble brand)

These people do not mention that their dog has been having ear yeast infections from time to time or that their coat is of acceptable or not so very great condition but lacks shine or that the dog has mild or moderate hip displasia or even early stages of cancer. They just think that these are their dogs genes to rely on or to blame, that's it. And they are so wrong!

Many refuse to listen what kind of real garbage they feed to their dogs. All they do is blindly following the market trends, grab bags with dry kibble labled 'complete & balanced' at a bargain price and feed it to their dogs. They are made to believe that since the kibble in the bag is 'complete & balanced' they do not need any additional supplements or other types of real food like fruit and veggies.

Here I have found a lovely article explaining the truth about dry pet kibbles: http://www.acreaturecomfort.com/truthaboutpetfood.htm

We stopped feeding all our dogs dry kibbles over 1,5 years ago. Real raw food made SO MUCH difference in our dogs' health, overall well-being. It is a remarkable difference.

I think that commercial dry kibbled foods are made to make your pets sick. It couldn't be any simplier than that. A really good commercial dry kibble does not exist. Raw food is a way to go for a healthier pet.

I will be covering the brands of real dog foods (raw) in my next post.
