How we got Zella.
She joined our family in September 2010. Zella came from a breeder in the UK.
She is a Staffordshire Bullterrier and has a lovely blue coat with white spots on the toes and chest.
We did not expect that she would actually be the 'runt' of the litter. As a two month old puppy she had very-very thin coat, lots of small bite-wounds and her size was very small. Zella was the smallest puppy in her litter.
So our first goal from the 'gotcha day' was to feed the puppy to make her grow strong and healthy.
My husband and I previously owned 6 dogs. We wanted to make the best life possible for our new family member.
